Full day city tour in Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
Today, we commence at 8 AM to take part in Ho Chi Minh City tour - once known as Saigon – bustles with forward-looking energy in glittering skyscrapers, street vendors and open-air cafés. A sightseeing tour including Reunification Hall, which was once South Vietnam’s presidential palace and the French colonial architecture including the Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral, Jade Emperor Pagoda, Chinatown and Binh Tay Market – the biggest whole sale market. In the afternoon, we visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Stretching out in a 120-mile underground network of meeting rooms, triage centers and kitchens, this vast complex allowed North Vietnamese combatants to evade discovery as they moved freely throughout the area, and offers a unique look at life in wartime Vietnam. Drive back to Saigon downtown late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho (B, L)
After breakfast, heading south to Cai Be. Boarding a motorized sampan for a journey through the floating market – a typical feature of the Mekong River’s life. Chance to see how the river life goes on, trading between merchant ships and local farmers. The boat trip also takes you through canals under the shadow of coconut groves and over the Mighty Mekong to island where we stop to enjoy seasonal fruits and lunch before our boat takes us to Vinh Long. Transfer to Can Tho. Free for the night. Overnight in hotel in Can Tho (or optional countryside homestay).
Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Breakfast, then transfer to the boat dock. Boarding a motorized sampan to Cai Rang Floating Market - One of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta. We will then have a long-distance cruise and walk on a quiet country road to deep in the magnificent scenery and to get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. Lunch at a local restaurant and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet (B)
Located 210km north of Ho Chi Minh city, Mui Ne is an ideal destination for tourist to escape the noise of big city and feel the beauty of nature. Today, enjoy the morning train to Phan Thiet. After 4 hours, the train brings you to the city. By vehicle to your resort in Mui Ne. Free time for the rest of the day to relax at the beach.
