In homage to Vietnamese legends and the desire to share with visitors our distinctive cultural values, Dragon Legend Cruise devotes its design to satisfying the expectations of visitors who wish to gain insight into the singular elements that characterize Vietnamese culture. The interior design of the well-appointed cabins, restaurants, and bar on this modern boat is an artful presentation of Vietnamese cultural design. The Dragon Head motif is the focus of the design together with Hung King dynasty decorative features and handmade cultural products from the many regions of Vietnam, bringing guests a sense of cultural experience and unique stay in this South East Asian country. Each of the 24 spacious, wood-paneled cabins has been luxuriously designed for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. The beautifully presented furnishings in each 26.5 sq.m cabin are influenced by traditional Vietnamese culture and comprise a collection of authentic, handmade art from different regions throughout Vietnam (Chu Dau ceramics, Red Zao brocade, wooden statues…) The well-appointed, 9 sq. m bathrooms include bathtubs for a soothing seawater or fresh water treatment where guests can relax and gaze out on the Bay from a large window. Two of the cabins have connecting rooms to accommodate families.

Itinerary

day 1

DAY 1: HA LONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOR – BAI TU LONG BAY – THIEN CANH SON CAVE

08:20 – 08:45: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter

11:30: Arrive to Waiting Lounge at Indochina Junk office, take rest at the Waiting Lounge before transferring to Cruise. 11:50 – 12:15: Go to the harbor by a Electric Cart

12:30 – 13:00: Welcome to Dragon Legend Cruise. Cruise begins with welcome drink and safety briefing.

13:15: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating formations on the way.

14:30: Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.

15:00: Enjoy kayaking to discover the limestone islands in the bay before returning to the cruise ship.

16:15: Back to the boat for refreshing and watch the sunset on board.

17:15:Join a Vietnamese cuisine cooking class (Banh Xeo).

19:00: Take a rest and enjoy dinner in a peaceful and romantic atmosphere on the bay.

20:00 – 21:00: Leisure time, guests can experience squid fishing, and have a good night on Dragon Legend Cruise.

day 2

DAY 2: VUNG VIENG FISHING VILLAGE – HA LONG HARBOR

06:00: Start a new day with a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck.

07:00: Breakfast is served on the cruise.

07:45: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic rowboat, meet the local people and pass through the floating school and fish farms.

08:45: Return to the cruise for relaxation and leisure.

10:00: Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor

10:15: Enjoy a buffet while cruising towards the harbor.

11:30 – 12:00: Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province for a short break in this typical Vietnamese agricultural village which is rich in culture and traditions.

13:00 – 13:45: Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists.

16:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.
